►One of the leading polled donors in the Brahman world, and the foundation donor that started V8's focus on polled Brahmans in recent years. She was Grand Champion at the State Fair of Texas Junior Show and Reserve Senior Champion at the 2003 National Open Brahman Show. ►In 2004, her flush was the high selling flush of the International Brahman Sale, bringing $8800 to Mound Creek Ranch of Texas, to be used in their Brangus breeding up program. Miller Brangus also purchased a flush in this female for the same purpose. ►Her son is Mr. V8 51/6 (S), who is a herd sire at V8 Ranch and has been immensely popular in Australian for the Deguaras and Bartolo families. ►Her mating with Avery 159/6 bull produced amazing results including two donor daughters currently being flushed at the ranch: Miss V8 797/6 and Miss V8 851/6. ►She has a STELLAR smooth polled daughter currently in the V8 showstring, sired by Karu. We feel this young heifer may be the best polled females we have ever raised...even better than Miss V8 100/7. She is heavy boned, stout, and has a perfectly smooth head. We feel the breeding potential on this young beauty will be amazing when you factor in the polled genetics, outstanding conformation, and carcass merit of Karu. ►An interesting side note: When Brandon and Rachel got engaged at the V8 stalls in Houston in 2010, Brandon put the engagement ring in the award envelope that Rachel had just recieved at the ABBA membership meeting for her cow entering the Register of Renown....this was the cow....+Miss V8 98/6. |
