Save the date! The 2024 National Brahman Show takes place November 5-6, 2024 at Brazos County Expo Center in College Station TX.
The National Brahman Show is an annual event that showcases the best American Brahman cattle from across the United States. Breeders, exhibitors, and enthusiasts gather to celebrate the breed, compete for prestigious titles, and promote the advancement of Brahman genetics. The show features various classes for bulls, cows, and calves, with expert judges evaluating the animals based on their conformation, quality, and overall representation of the breed standards. As one of the most significant events in the Brahman cattle industry, the National Brahman Show provides a platform for education, networking, and the recognition of outstanding achievements in Brahman breeding.
Over the many years as a premier Brahman cattle breeder, V8 Ranch has been honored with multiple awards, including claiming highest honors at the 2020 National Brahman Show. Securing the coveted titles of National Grand Champion Female (Miss V8 203/9, owned in partnership with GKB Cattle) and Grand Champion Bull (+Mr. V8 322/8 “The Machine”) demonstrates V8’s ongoing commitment to premium genetics.
In 2023, V8 proved to be the genetic powerhouse behind the National Brahman Show, as both of the Grey Category Grand Champions traced their maternal lineage back to +Mr. V8 380/6, underscoring the crucial role of V8 genetics in producing superior cattle.
The presence of V8 genetics extended far beyond the Grand Champions, with 15 Division or Reserve Division Champions and 24 Class Winners all boasting a connection to a V8-bred and branded animal. This widespread success served as a powerful testament to the genetic prowess of V8 Ranch.
V8 Ranch is particularly excited about showcasing Mr. V8 368/9 “Magic Man” at this year’s show. A fan favorite at 2024’s early shows, his exceptional qualities, including his unique dark steel gray pigment, friendly nature, and ideal Brahman phenotype, make him a standout bull. From the moment he hit our social media accounts, Magic Man has become a fan-favorite. Make sure you stop by our booth so you can meet him yourself!
Williams Family Ties to Aggieland
The entire V8 family is thrilled to head back into Aggieland, as Jim Williams, Catherine Williams Neumayr, and Luke Neumayr are all proud Texas A&M alumni. Will 6-year-old Knox Neumayr be the next family member to grace its hallowed halls? It may be too soon to say, but Aggie blood runs deep—especially in this family!

2024 National Brahman Show Location
The 2024 National Brahman Show will be hosted in College Station Texas, at the Brazos County Expo Station.
This location is about a 2-hour drive from V8’s Hungerford, Texas Brahman cattle ranches. And while you’re here, we also recommend you visit our cousins over at J.D. Hudgins, Inc. When you do, you’ll be able to tour the two largest Brahman breeders in the United States—on the same day!
Flying in for the show? These airports are within driving distance of Brazos County Expo Center.
- College Station Easterwood Field (CLL) is the closest regional airport to the National Brahman show, just 5 minutes from the Bryan/College Station area and the greater Brazos Valley.
