Home of 65 National Or International Grand Champions
At V8, we enjoy competitive livestock shows and use the show ring to showcase our cattle to the public to give them an example of the quality of cattle we have for sale back at the ranch. Each year, we select the top Brahman cattle from our herd to enter the V8 show string to be exhibited at the National Brahman Show, the Houston Livestock Show, and the ABBA Approved Point Shows around Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Since 1976, we have exhibited 28 National or International Grand Champion Brahman bulls and 37 National or International Grand Champion Brahman females for a total of 65 National or International Grand Championships since 1976. This is the highest number from any one ranch in Brahman history. These champions are then used in our breeding program to perpetuate the quality of V8 Brahmans.
